Civic Front Upper
how much do i torque the screws for my front upper strut bar?
I have a 2000 honda civic EX. I read that when you install upper strut bars, there is a certain number to where you have to torque the screws to? Is this true? If it is does any one know at what number i should torque it to? Is it also the same for the rear upper strut bar as well?
I don't believe there is a specific number for those bolts. The reason I think that is because they always have a constant force on them witch is the weight of the car. I'm not saying that they don't or wont move but I have installed countless bars and never lost a bolt. Remember it wont be stock any more so you cant use the stock numbers I just make to where i am sure they wont loosen up any time soon and I will still be able to loosen them up when time comes.
